Working full time eats up almost all of my time. Every weekday at six, I open the backdoor and step out into the golden light of sunset. After being cooped up all day inside, save for my lunch half hour spent eating whatever I can scrounge up in a hurry that morning, walking out into such a wondrous display of light and shadows and color I can't help but be inspired. Most of these shots are little moments where I stopped on my bike and snapped a photo or ran into the hills to catch the waning rays of a sunset that must have pushed my ancestors towards thoughts toward divinity.
This little camera I was given, the Vivitar rangefinder, has turned out to be one of my favorite cameras I've ever had. It's such an interesting little camera and sometimes the focus is so strange but in such a dreamy way. It seems to see what I see, almost as if it feels how I feel in that moment.
